Situated amidst the serene hills of Champawat, this residence was designed to accommodate a nuclear family with a dual-purpose layout: the lower floor designated for rental use, while the upper two floors serve as the family’s private living space. To maximize the breathtaking hill views, the façade was thoughtfully opened up, seamlessly integrating the natural surroundings into the design. The staircase, traditionally treated as a service element, was reimagined as a central architectural feature, elevating the spatial experience. A carefully curated material palette was chosen to ensure the building harmoniously blends with its natural environment, creating a cohesive and understated presence.
