- Studio BluKey Office | Arth Design
Arth Design’s Studio BluKey Office: 500 sq ft Madhya Pradesh workspace merging polished wood and raw cement panels with vibrant furnishings. Studio BluKey Office COMMERCIAL | MADHYA PRADESH Scope : Interiors (Consultancy) Area : 500 sqft Status : Completed in 2023 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Utsav Agrawal Fitout : Studio Blukey A workspace is the soul of any brand; it's these very four walls that define what the brand is, what it stands for and last but not the least, what it does. While designing workspaces, our approach remains in celebrating the brand through space. This approach allows us to drift away from formulaic office templates and let materiality and thoughtful contrasts narrate the story. The office of Studio Blu Key, an interior fit-out firm, is all about celebration of materials and textures, blending professional minimalism and warm hospitality. The overall space shows extensive use of meticulously polished teak and oak wood. The fine woodwork becomes a storytelling surface, showcasing grains, texture and hand-finished finesse. Sitting in contrast to this finished wood are the raw cement panels which make for a perfect fusion of the raw and the polished, the process and the outcome. The use of perforated cement blocks instead of a solid partition creates a sense of privacy while providing visual depth to the space. These blocks, intentionally kept polished from one side and raw from the other, depict how the same material when processed in different techniques can create a completely different feel in the space, once again emphasizing on the fusion of the unfinished and the polished. Complimenting the overall neutral palette are these pops of bright hues coming in through vibrant soft furnishing and lush greens along with their vibrant planters. These elements, when strategically placed, provide a striking contrast to the subtle and minimal backdrops. SHARE Facebook LinkedIn X (Twitter) Copy link
- Senani's Residence | Arth Design
Arth Design’s Senani Residence: 500 sq ft Madhya Pradesh space with bespoke teak‑rattan furniture and elegant brass accents, completed 2024. Senani's Residence RESIDENTIAL | MADHYA PRADESH Scope : Furniture Area : 500 sqft Status : Completed in 2024 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Utsav Agrawal This project provided limited scope since it focused on a pair of furniture. Despite that, it allowed us to truly explore the richness of teak as a material. These bespoke furniture pieces, designed for the client’s family living space, presents an ode to solid teak wood, rattan and craftsmanship. Each piece of teak wood was carefully chosen after a thorough assessment of its colour and grain. Our team examined multiple polish samples, after which we finalised the one that matched our preferred shade, and best revealed the striking grain patterns. In contrast to the medium-dark toned teak, the rattan establishes lightness and complements the rich wood tones, creating harmony and a balanced aesthetic. The antique brass knobs enhance the linear tessellation pattern and the richness of the wood. The piece stands tall against a backdrop of soft, diffused light filtering through a glass partition, seamlessly blending into its architectural setting. It transforms it from a piece of furniture to a well-crafted statement. SHARE Facebook LinkedIn X (Twitter) Copy link

- Manav Agency | Arth Design
Arth Design’s Manav Agency: 7,500 sq ft Madhya Pradesh project combining a utilitarian pharmaceutical division below and bold Amul Essence Mart retail above. Manav Agency COMMERCIAL | MADHYA PRADESH Scope : Interiors + Facade (Consultancy) Area : 7500 sqft Status : Completed in 2023 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Nitika Bajaj, Utsav Agrawal Furniture : Mukesh Gupta In the heart of the city stands a uniquely bold structure that quietly defies the usual boundaries of commercial interior design. This project reimagines what it means to combine two distinct industries -pharmaceuticals and confectionery -within a single vertically stacked footprint. The primary challenge was to meet strict regulatory and operational needs for pharmaceuticals as well as to create a lively retail experience to appeal to the younger, confectionery-loving crowd. The building’s exterior is a symmetrical vertical elevation with tall, vertical windows neatly punctuated by sleek geometric lines. The ground and lower levels are designated for Manav Agency, the pharmaceutical division and the vibrant upper floors welcome customers to Amul Essence Mart, a modern retail space for baking essentials and gourmet goods. The pharmaceutical section on the lower level is a model of utilitarian grace. A space promoting swift operations and strict hygiene is created via the use of tiled floors, open-plan workstations, including frosted glass cabins and acoustic privacy panels, and an intelligent use of modular furniture. Subtle pops of green -seen in roller blinds and wall art -gentle breaks the monotony of the clinical palette. Despite the high-functionality layout, soft LED downlighting and wooden textures lend the space a sense of calm continuity. In striking contrast, the Amul Essence Mart on the upper floor presents a lively atmosphere. Designed to appeal to the flourishing community of young bakers, home cooks, and cafe owners, this space is colour-blocked, bold and brand-forward. This project elevates the status of the two businesses. It redefines the customer and staff experience across both domains, challenging the conventional notion that pharmaceutical spaces must be sterile and the retail must be chaotic. The overall layout harmonises calm efficiency and vibrant engagement. SHARE Facebook LinkedIn X (Twitter) Copy link
- MAC Blinds | Arth Design
Arth Design’s MAC Blinds Experience Center: 1,000 sq ft Delhi showroom in three zones—Excite, Engage and Select—treating blinds as art. MAC Blinds Experience Center RETAIL | DELHI Scope : Interiors (Consultancy) Area : 1000 sqft Status : Completed in 2023 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Bhavika Singla Photographer : Avesh gaur The Experience Centre for MAC Blinds is designed to celebrate their finesse and diverse range of window covering solutions. The client's brief called for a modern, minimalistic space with a touch of warmth. A layered design approach, marked by a fine play of textures and sculptured decor, creates an inviting and elegant ambience. Our objective was to reformulate blinds and window coverings, presenting them not merely as functional essentials, but as artistic expressions, which enrich any given space. The stylised environment, showcasing blinds, reflects an effort to integrate blinds as artistic elements. The plan views the walls as curated canvases which present blinds in a palette of colors, patterns, and mechanisms. The strategic placement of vertical panels and suspended elements make the space interactive and visually engaging. The minimalist use of furniture creates an inviting ambience and allows the visitors’ attention to be centered on the products. The layout divides the space into three distinct zones, namely Excite, Engage and Select. The Excite Zone creates a visually engaging experience for the visitors. This zone incorporates strong focal points which draw the users’ interest and curiosity, encouraging them to explore further. This is accomplished through a suspended display of fabric samples near the entry, which transforms the material library into an installation. The Engage Zone is strategically designed to create an interactive space that not only showcases products for hands-on exploration but also provides information through framed information boards. The product displays present the entire range of available blinds, allowing customers to browse and compare options. The Select Zone includes seating and consultation areas to foster discussions between the customers and the sales consultants about material and design choices. This kind of setting enables informed decision-making, combining functional display with a structured shopping experience. SHARE Facebook LinkedIn X (Twitter) Copy link
- Design Process : Crafting the MAC Blinds Experience Centre | Arth Design Blog
Explore Arth Design’s process for the MAC Blinds Experience Centre: Excite, Engage and Select zones in a minimalist backdrop showcasing blinds as art. Design Process : Crafting the MAC Blinds Experience Centre Ayush Jagnani 4th January 2025 • 5 min read Since its inception in 1984, MAC Blinds has become India's premier manufacturer of window covering solutions. We were fortunate to be entrusted with this project. Upon receiving the project brief and understanding the site, we recognized a significant opportunity to unleash our design creativity, though it also presented certain challenges. We aimed to redefine blinds and window coverings as elements beyond mere functionality. Please keep this perspective in mind. The Excite Zone: The entrance areas were designated as this zone. Its primary function was to create strong focal points, leaving a lasting first impression of the products and encouraging users to explore further. The Engage Zone: The display areas fell within this zone. Its main purpose was to create interactive displays that not only showcased the products but also provided information and education on their various aspects. The Select Zone: The office and meeting spaces were categorized into this zone. The primary function was to establish small discussion areas where clients could be assisted by sales consultants in narrowing down and finalizing their selections. With the spatial layout finalized, our focus shifted to defining the aesthetic language of the space. Exploring a spectrum of design styles, we sought an approach that would harmonize with our concept note—positioning the coverings as art pieces. Clarity emerged as we returned to this vision, opting for a subdued architectural envelope. A muted palette and restrained materiality were employed to create a minimalist backdrop, ensuring the vibrant colors and intricate textures of the blinds could take center stage as the true focal elements. Even the signage was meticulously integrated as self-on-self built-in elements, reinforcing the cohesive and understated aesthetic. This deliberate restraint elevated the window coverings, allowing their rich hues and dynamic forms to transform the space into a curated gallery of design and functionality. MAC EXPERIENCE CENTRE Transforming window blinds into artistic element within a thoughtfully designed layout that engages, educates and facilitates purchases. View Project Related Projects : SHARE Facebook LinkedIn X (Twitter) Copy link We began by identifying key attributes central to the brand's identity: Clean, Smart, Modern, which reflect the brand's personality and extensive product range; Customer-Centric; Advanced Production Facility; High Quality; and Trustworthy, which constitute the brand's unique selling propositions. With these attributes in focus, we developed a concept note based on our initial idea: "The space adopts an immersive approach to the display of window blinds, presenting them as more than just functional tools. Customers experience the product as an art piece that can enhance any wall or space." This concept note guided us in dividing the space into three critical zones: Excite, Engage, and Select, marking the commencement of our design process.
